I'm not going to dress this up with some polished origin story about always dreaming of running a business. That's not what happened. The truth is simpler and a lot more real than that.

I needed work. I'm almost 40, I know what hard work looks like, and I wasn't willing to sit around waiting for something to happen to me. So I made something happen.

Where It Started

I looked at what I could do with the skills I had, the equipment I could get access to, and the market right here in Amarillo. Pressure washing checked every box. The demand is real — anyone who's lived in Amarillo knows what the wind and dust does to your concrete and siding over time. The barrier to entry is manageable if you're willing to work. And the one thing that separates the good operators from the bad ones is simple — showing up when you say you will and doing the job right.

That's not complicated. That's just basic respect for the customer.

"I wasn't going to build a company on promises I couldn't keep. So I started small, did every job personally, and let the work speak for itself."

Why Owner-Operated Matters

When you call Westland Exterior Cleaning, you get me. Not a dispatcher. Not a crew you've never met. Me — Joe — showing up to your driveway with the same equipment and the same standard I'd hold myself to if I was cleaning my own home.

I drive a 2004 Camry. I'm not showing up in a wrapped truck with a logo and a uniform trying to look like a big company. I'm showing up as exactly what I am — a guy who takes pride in his work and wants to earn your business the right way. What I pull up in doesn't matter. What your driveway looks like when I leave does.

What Amarillo Deserves

Amarillo is a working city. The people here work hard, take care of their homes, and don't have patience for contractors who don't show up or do half a job. I respect that because I'm one of those people.

I started Westland Exterior Cleaning because I believe this city deserves a pressure washing service that treats every driveway like it matters. Because it does — it's your home, your property, your curb appeal. It's the first thing your neighbors see and the last thing you see when you pull in after a long day.

I want that to look good for you. That's genuinely why I'm doing this.

Where We're Going

Right now it's just me. Every job I take, I do personally. That's intentional — I'm not going to grow faster than I can control the quality. When the time comes to bring on help, I'll train them the same way I'd want to be trained. Until then, when you hire Westland Exterior Cleaning, you're hiring Joe.

I'm just getting started. And I'm not going anywhere.
